Assistant Manager
Salary: £30,000
The working hours are 8:30 am to 17:30 pm - This is a 5 day a week on-site role.
As Assistant Membership Manager, you’ll help run one of our spaces, making sure we hit our revenue and occupancy goals while delivering an exceptional, personal member experience every day.
Your role is to be the glue to keep our community together and to help make Work.Life a place where our members love to work, giving them everything they need to run their businesses smoothly.
We trust our teams to run their spaces like their own businesses, which means driving sales, keeping the businesses profitable, and operating spaces we can all be proud of. If this is something you can handle; we want to hear from you.
Your Day to Day
Sales & Revenue
Support driving income in your space to achieve Space budgets.
Support and follow up on coworking membership enquiries, converting tours to members and supporting proactive retention work.
Maintain 100% occupancy by exceeding member expectations and encouraging successful contract renewals.
Maximise additional revenue opportunities such as meeting rooms, event hire, printing, IT, weekend space hire, food & beverage extras, and other addons.
Support membership administration, including contracts and invoicing.
Space Operations
Onboard new members effectively, giving them a brilliant first impression and continuous excellent experience.
Support management of controllable costs to keep your space within budget.
Ensure the building runs smoothly, with facilities and amenities kept to a great standard and with standards always met.
Step in to tackle operational challenges quickly, working closely with your manager and support teams.
Community
Build strong relationships with members, checking in regularly and anticipating their needs.
Be an ambassador for Work.Life in your local community, building connections and representing what we stand for.
Deliver great events, from regular community moments to unique experiences you design for your space.
Act as a positive influence and role model for Membership Assistants, helping them grow and succeed.
Sustainability
Take part in sustainability training as part of your onboarding and ongoing Power Hours.
Contribute to Work.Life’s sustainability strategy in your space and beyond.
Use your charity hours to support a cause you care about and get involved in our fundraising efforts.
About You
You’re persuasive, engaging, and an excellent listener who understands people’s needs.
You have some proven sales experience and enjoy driving results.
You’ve delivered great customer service and know how to add value.
You thrive in busy, inperson environments and keep standards consistently high.
You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited to run your space like it’s your own business.

You’ve managed or contributed to budgets or P&L responsibilities.
